PERENCANAAN GORDING SEBAGAI BALOK LENTUR BAJA DENGAN METODA LRFD (LOAD RESISTANCE FACTOR DESIGN)

Structural design must be able to realize a structure that can work optimally during its service life, the structure must require the requirements for strength, stiffness, and processing time. Steel structures with stress vs strain curves have the ability, so the load resistance factor design method is a rational thing based on the concept of probability, although in planning using the LRFD method, it does not fully use probability analysis in full. This method has been widely used, including in purlin planning in this study. Purlin is analyzed as a flexural beam, which component that received bending moments due to loading on the beam. It is assumed that the beam does not have buckling, because the part of the element that is under compression is fully restrained both in the direction of the strong axis and the weak axis. The calculation of the moment on the purlin uses the formula for the simple beam. The results showed that the nominal capacity of purlin C 150.65.20.3.2 was used only 90.31% and the deflection that occurred was still below the allowable deflection.
